A Moment in Welcome

Thanks for visiting!

After years and years of thinking about it (but mostly putting it off) I have finally gotten around to setting up my very own website. It occurred to me that I didn’t really have a place to show samples of my work that looked a bit more professional than say facebook/generic free blogs etc… So here we are.

Originally, it was always to exhibit my illustrations and paintings, but time and events have unfolded in my life that has left me utterly obsessed with photography.

I have been teaching myself photography only about a year and a half ago, but it feels like it has been much longer. Well, better late than never. As much as this site will be a portfolio, I think it will also serve as a journal of my education and progression in this field – the dream being that maybe one day I could do this full-time..

Wedding photography has been an inspiration/goal ever since I attended my brother’s wedding in Sydney last year. There was so much joy and emotion and special moments that I never knew how to appreciate it as I’ve never attended a family wedding before.. I guess that’s how my interest in photography as something more than a mere hobby began.

Anyway, this was just a brief welcome to say thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy the images here!
