Tradewinds Hotel Wedding – Dominie + Chris

This is the first time that I have had consecutive weddings of uncertain weather, this time for Dominie and Chris’ Tradewinds Hotel wedding. Drizzling rain in the morning leading into the bridal party shoot initially altered our plans as anytime we thought we could take some clicks outside the rain would start and though we were on a tight schedule I was hopeful that we could still make it in time. It wasn’t till our second/third-ish attempt that the sun finally came out just as we were nearly finished and in time for us to sneak the outdoor shots that I had in mind.

It could have been very easy to give up on the shots and settle for something else but I knew deep down I would have regretted it. Sometimes a little persistence and perseverance pays off and I’m so glad we got that chance.
