Epic Engagement Photography Melbourne – Karen + Andy

While photographing their wedding, late in the night we made some very spontaneous plans to drive up to Mt Buller because I haven’t seen proper snow since forever and snow is awesome. Despite it being realllllyyyy cold and wet and grey, it was so much fun being there with Karen and Andy trying to create something literally in a white canvas everywhere you looked whilst doing so with a very wet camera. Fast forward a few days later in Melbourne and we finally had some beautiful sunshine so we made some more spontaneous plans to take advantage of it so we ended up goofing around at the National Victoria Gallery and the Royal Botanic Gardens.

I can’t say enough about Karen and Andy being two amazingly awesome people. To fly a complete stranger over from across the country and welcome me into their lives without hesitation is immensely humbling and whether it was being ready to lay down in wet, freezing snow or to run around and be silly in public while people looked on.. I really couldn’t ask for a more perfect couple.
